Grant T. Peterson
Growing
up on a farm and ranch in Montana, Grant was instilled with a great
work ethic and exposed to machinery and hands-on problem solving
at a very early age. Grant helped his father and other family members
run the family business throughout high school. After graduation,
he joined the service and served for two years in the Navy. After
being honorably discharged, Grant moved to Seattle to broaden his
horizons, where he obtained a position as a plumber's apprentice
and realized immediately, that he was BORN to be a plumber. Grant
liked the company and the work, and decided to serve out his apprenticeship
and qualify for his journeyman license. Dedication and hard work
brought him up to journeyman level faster than anyone in the history
of the company.
In 1995, Grant was blessed with a son, Dony. Grant has always appreciated
small town life and wanted to raise Dony in the best possible environment.
Jackson Hole came to mind and, after study and inquiries, Grant
moved to Jackson in 1999 to work with Bob Erickson at Grand Teton
Plumbing. A year later, he decided to buy into Grand Teton Plumbing
and has been a partner ever since. Grant loves raising his family
in Jackson and being able to contribute to the community.
Bob Erickson (and Copper)
Bob
came to the Jackson Hole area from a small town outside Milwaukee,
Wisconsin in 1978 and, like many people who have moved here, was
immediately smitten with the beauty and uniqueness of the Jackson
Hole area. Like many others who have moved here, he has worked a
number of interesting jobs before settling into a profession. In
1981, Bob started working for Wright Plumbing and Heating on the
Motel 6 project in Jackson, as a plumber's apprentice, and found
out he had a talent for plumbing, downright loved it as a matter
of fact! From that point on, Bob dedicated himself to plumbing,
working in and learning about his chosen profession. In 1986, Bob
decided to go into business and start Grand Teton Plumbing. Initially,
Bob started the company to find a way to stay in Jackson Hole and
to provide a much needed service for Jackson Hole. Since going into
business, Bob has learned a lot and has enjoyed being a part of
the Jackson Hole community and that which it has to offer. To this
day, Bob loves plumbing, the Jackson business community, providing
topnotch, expert plumbing services, and meeting Grand Teton Plumbing
customers and friends.
